Beating the Odds is a documentary produced by Roadtrip Nation, in collaboration with the Center for Equality in Learning, for PBS stations. It tells the story of three young adults born into a life lacking privilege, traveling across the country to speak to some that made it through their own hardships.

On this trip, the cast had a chance to speak and receive advice from many leaders, including Geoffrey Canada, Robert Garcia, and Michelle Obama.

As Head of Video Production, I was tasked with overseeing casting, planning, pre-production, production, post-production timelines, budgets, resourcing, and inter-departmental communication.
