When Skillshare decided to dive further into music classes, they went to one of the best in the game, Jacob Collier. However, one major roadblock we encountered during contract negotiations was that Jacob was not able to fit travel to the US for this shoot and fluing out an in-house crew was outside of the budget.

Thankfully, COVID presented many challenges and also gave us many opportunities for experimenting and learning. One of those learnings was the ability to monitor and produce a high quality class from across the pond. In addition, the expansion in talented freelance crews around the world (an initiative I'm very proud of spearheading) allowed for someone we knew and trusted to lead the shoot in person.       

As Head of Production, I was tasked with overseeing planning, storyboarding, delivery timelines, budgets, resourcing, and inter-departmental communication.
